Ramadan Iftar Program

Ramadan, the Holiest Month of the Year

Each year during Ramadan, Saba Trust organizes sunset meals (Iftar) to help hundreds of poor Muslims break the Ramadan fast with a nutritious and dignified meal.

During the annual celebration of the Eid al-Adha holiday, Saba Trust provides animals to be purchased for the ritual sacrifice (qurbani) that commemorates the trial of Prophet Abraham, and distributes the meat to those in need. For many recipients, this occasion is the only time during the year when they have an opportunity to eat meat as part of their diet.

For millions of Muslims around the world, the blessed month of Ramadan is a time of reflection, reverence, fasting, prayer, patience, and charity.
